One tooth, several back teeth, a bridge that has failed, a denture that moves when you eat, or a full arch - plus whether a graft has already been mentioned to you by a dentist, your town, and any written plan or quote you are already holding.
You do not need to know what treatment you want. That is exactly what the examination and the imaging decide, and it is not a decision this site can make for you.
We match on two things: whether the practice's offices cover the part of Chicago, or the surrounding town, that you are in - and whether the practice does the kind of implant work your situation involves. If you are in Chicago itself, Evanston, Oak Park, Cicero, Berwyn, Skokie, Des Plaines, Park Ridge, Niles, Elmwood Park, Norridge, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove or River Forest, the practice we introduce is one that actually treats patients there, not one whose nearest office is an hour away.
Every practice we introduce holds an Illinois licence to practise dentistry, issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Sedation carries its own permit level in Illinois, so it is fair to ask which permit the dentist holds before sedation is part of a plan.
The practice examines you, takes or reviews imaging, and writes the plan: how many implants and where, whether a graft or an extraction is part of it, what the final teeth are made of, how many visits the sequence takes, and the fee for each part.
That written plan is the only figure that applies to your mouth. The published ranges on this site describe the market. Five things are worth getting in writing from any practice:
Take the plan away and read it. If it is not right, say so and we will suggest another practice; nothing is booked until you agree to it. Patients pay nothing for the introduction - the practices we work with are who we are paid by.
We do not treat patients. We do not diagnose, we do not plan treatment, and we do not present any practice's fee as ours. Clinical responsibility sits with the licensed dentist you are introduced to, from the first appointment onwards.
No. It is a free matching service. We do not treat anyone, and the clinical decisions - the plan, the imaging, the fee - belong to the licensed practice you are introduced to.
Nothing. Patients pay nothing for the introduction; the practices we work with pay us.
One or more, depending on your town and what the situation involves. We do not promise a specific number of quotes, and the point of the introduction is an itemised written plan you can read, not a race to the lowest headline number.
Say so and we will suggest another. Nothing is booked until you agree, and there is no charge for a second introduction.
